Islamic State takes of hostages in a supermarket in southern France

Jihadist terrorism has hit France again. There are at least three people killed in hostage-taking at a supermarket in Trèbes, near Carcassonne, in the south of the country. The assailant, who has been killed by the police after several hours, is a soldier of the Islamic State .

The terrorist has been identified as Redouane Lakdim, a man of 25 years of Moroccan origin, signed by the French authorities but not included in the list of radicalized.
